How I Built the COCO HOMES Cleaning Website — From Idea to Launch

When I started building the website for COCO HOMES Cleaning Services L.L.C S.O.C, the goal was simple:

Create a modern cleaning company website that feels clean, trustworthy, and easy for customers in Dubai to use.

Most cleaning websites in Dubai look outdated, overloaded with information, or difficult to navigate on mobile. I wanted this project to feel different — modern visuals, fast booking experience, and a premium brand feel inspired by high-end service companies in the UAE.

The first challenge was understanding the customer behavior.

People searching for cleaning services usually want 3 things immediately:

  • Trust
  • Fast booking
  • Clear pricing

That became the foundation of the entire design process.

Planning the Structure

Before touching the design, I mapped out the full customer journey.

I asked myself:

“What does a visitor need to see in the first 5 seconds?”

So I built the homepage around:

  • A strong hero section
  • Quick appointment booking
  • Clear services
  • Pricing visibility
  • Testimonials
  • Simple call-to-action buttons

The idea was to reduce hesitation and make users feel comfortable booking instantly.

I also studied modern UAE cleaning service websites to understand common layouts, booking flows, and customer expectations in Dubai’s service industry.

Creating the Visual Identity

The client wanted something fresh, modern, and professional.

Instead of using dark corporate colors, I chose:

  • Soft green tones
  • Bright yellow highlights
  • Clean white spacing

These colors helped communicate:

  • Freshness
  • Hygiene
  • Comfort
  • Eco-friendly service feeling

The UI was designed to feel lightweight and calm — not crowded.

Every section was intentionally spaced to improve readability and mobile experience.

Building the User Experience

One of the biggest priorities was mobile responsiveness.

In Dubai, many customers book services directly from their phones through social media ads or WhatsApp campaigns. That meant the website had to load fast and work perfectly on mobile devices.

I designed:

  • Large clickable buttons
  • Simple forms
  • Clean service cards
  • Easy-to-read pricing tables
  • WhatsApp-focused contact flow

The booking section was placed near the top because users should never scroll too far before taking action.

The Problem-Solving Process

During development, one challenge was balancing design and performance.

High-quality cleaning images help build trust, but too many large images can slow down the website.

To solve this:

  • I optimized image sizes
  • Structured sections carefully
  • Reduced unnecessary animations
  • Kept layouts visually rich but lightweight

Another challenge was making the pricing section feel clear without overwhelming users.

Instead of complicated packages, I simplified the plans into clean pricing cards that are easy to compare quickly.

This helped improve clarity and user confidence.

Making the Website Feel Human

A cleaning business is about trust inside someone’s home.

So I wanted the website to feel warm and approachable — not robotic.

That’s why the design includes:

  • Real lifestyle imagery
  • Friendly testimonials
  • Soft gradients
  • Comfortable spacing
  • Clear service explanations

Even the typography and button shapes were chosen to make the experience feel welcoming.

Final Result

The final website became:

  • Modern
  • Responsive
  • Conversion-focused
  • Easy to navigate
  • Optimized for Dubai customers

It reflects the professionalism of the brand while keeping the experience simple for users booking cleaning services online.

This project reminded me that good web design is not only about visuals.

It’s about solving business problems through design, structure, speed, and user experience.

And for this project, the goal was simple:

Help a cleaning company build trust online before they even enter a customer’s home.
