Every website I build starts with one goal—turning a business into a strong online presence.

This project was for a petroleum and energy company, and from the beginning, I knew it needed to feel premium, powerful, and trustworthy.


The Beginning

When I first saw the requirements, the direction was clear:

The website needed to:

  • Represent a petroleum trading company professionally
  • Highlight multiple industries like aviation, marine, and logistics
  • Build trust with international clients
  • Keep everything clean, modern, and easy to navigate

Unlike e-commerce projects, this was a corporate service-based website, so the focus was more on branding, structure, and credibility.


Building the Foundation

I started by planning the structure of the website. With multiple services and industries involved, it was important to organize everything clearly.

I mapped out:

  • A strong homepage with a powerful hero section
  • Dedicated sections for industries served
  • Service highlights with icons and visuals
  • Blog and insights section for credibility
  • Contact details for easy inquiries

From there, I designed a layout that feels premium and structured, using a dark theme combined with gold accents to match the energy industry branding.


Design & User Experience

The design was all about clarity and impact.

I focused on:

  • Clean typography and spacing
  • Smooth section transitions
  • Strong call-to-action buttons
  • Fully responsive layout (mobile, tablet, desktop)

The goal was simple—when someone lands on the website, they should instantly feel that this is a reliable and global company.


The Challenge I Faced

Everything was coming together well—but I ran into a challenge during development.

The issue was with performance and content loading, especially with:

  • High-quality images
  • Multiple sections on one page
  • Animations and visual elements

The website started to feel slightly heavy, which could affect user experience and loading speed—especially for international visitors.


Finding the Solution

Instead of compromising the design, I focused on optimizing the performance.

Here’s what I did:

  • Compressed and optimized all images without losing quality
  • Improved loading speed using better asset management
  • Simplified animations to keep them smooth but lightweight
  • Structured the code for faster rendering

The Result

After optimization, the website became:
